University of Waterloo Course Offerings
The University of Waterloo, located in Waterloo, Ontario, is one of Canada’s most innovative and research-driven universities. Known for its strength in engineering, computer science, and business, UWaterloo offers a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs that prepare students to excel in their careers and contribute to global solutions.
Faculties and Areas of Study
UWaterloo offers a broad array of programs through its six main faculties, each focusing on specific academic disciplines:
- Faculty of Arts: Offers programs in humanities, social sciences, languages, and interdisciplinary studies, including economics, political science, sociology, psychology, and history.
- Faculty of Engineering: Specializations in electrical, civil, mechanical, software, chemical, and environmental engineering, with an emphasis on experiential learning and research.
- Faculty of Mathematics: One of the largest faculties dedicated to mathematics, including programs in computer science, actuarial science, pure and applied mathematics, and statistics.

- School of Accounting and Finance (SAF): Offers specialized programs in accounting, finance, and actuarial science, preparing students for leadership roles in business and finance.
- Faculty of Health: Degrees in public health, health studies, kinesiology, and recreation, with a focus on improving health and wellness at local and global levels.
