Patanjali University

Overview

Established in 2006, the University of Patanjali is a private university located in Haridwar. The University was established by Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna to offer quality education, blending all spectrums of oriental wisdom and scientific knowledge. The University is sponsored by Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust (PYP) and is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The University of Patanjali is also a member of the Association of India Universities (AIU).

The University of Patanjali offers UG, PG, diploma, and PhD courses through 10 departments of study. The flagship courses offered at Patanjali Vishwavidyalaya Haridwar are BNYS and BSc. The university offers scholarships to meritorious students. The University standardises and promotes the indigenous education system in synergy with modern technology. Students pursuing any of the courses from the University get an opportunity to learn from sages, saints, scholars, and intellectuals under the guidance of Yog Rishi Swami Ramdev.
